Can anything be more exciting than discovering the next great band? Every music lover has enjoyed spreading the word about their latest musical discovery. Sad thing is, how many of us wish it were we that had been there at the beginning?

For those never to have experienced that thrill, the chance has arrived. UK-based band Century In Sight are due to enter the studio on July 19 to record the very first EP that will be a true representation of their unique and exciting, genre-defying brand of instrumental, guitar-driven music.

To be followed by a potential UK tour, the debut EP, provisionally entitled ‘The Gamble’, will encompass the trio’s influences – ranging from Pelican and Tool to System Of A Down and Explosions In The Sky. Rough demos already adorn the band’s myspace site (www.myspace.com/centuryinsight), yet an honest and emotional recording will only serve to further the band’s sound.

With the EP to be released in limited edition with a DVD featuring live recordings and documentary footage, the exciting three-piece are set for big things in 2008. Visit the website today or drop the band an email at centuryinsight@live.co.uk to ensure you don’t miss out on any of the news and music.

Century In Sight are comprised of S Miller (bass), D Kuske (drums and keyboards) and M Johnson (guitar and samples), and are based across Kent. Each brings a unique talent to the band, with the exceptional drumming of Kuske, the driving basslines of Miller and the delicate, emotional guitar work of Johnson combining to create a musical genre of its own.

By incorporating samples and synthesisers into their music, the band stand apart from its contemporaries, with the visual excitement and raw energy of the live shows certain to live long in the memory.

Remember – the thrill of discovering new music can inspire like nothing else. Be among the first to discover Century In Sight and be among the first to discover the next great band.
