Guardians of the coast
Inspired by: Edward Hopper, Coast Guard Station
By: Ashley Jones
I can feel the peaceful breeze.
And smell the ocean.
I feel the soft warm sand in-between my toes.
I see the loneliness that this station holds, and the happiness it can bring.
The rolling hills come to an end as they reach the station.
The bizarre white coloring of the station reminds me of cold bare rooms.
The revealing windows remind me of, merry Christmas mornings like the ones in the movies, with a warm delightful presence.
As I leave I see how the oil touches and smoothes out the whole sheet.
